From formal dinners to casual lunches by the pool, SRC’s Food and Beverage (F&B) Department has done a brilliant job in achieving nods from members in regards to the standard of the F&B outlets in the club.

Currently, SRC operates with several F&B outlets, namely Poolside Café, Lounge 1883 and Barker Lounge .An F&B outlet is leased to Padang Palace, a popular Chinese restaurant that has made SRC home for many years.. The good mix in ethnic cuisine enhances the cultural diversity of the Club and each restaurant provides a perfect dining experience for that social or business occasion.

Eclectic and creative menus are often supplemented with innovative promotions to attract members and their guests to dine at the club.

The Poolside Café has always been a crowd pleaser among members, often seeing full houses on weekdays. The café underwent a facelift in 2003, increasing its seating capacity and on-site facilities. However, menu prices remained low while offering the best value for money meals to members.

To continue its area of service excellence, the F&B crew together with the rest of the Club’s staff have embarked on a comprehensive training program, working towards in achieving the People Developer status. This will ensure all staff are adequately trained to provide professional F&B services to all members and their guests.
