The nearest MRT station located near Singapore Recreation Club is City Hall Interchange.
There is now an alternate route to SRC , through the Esplanade MRT Station (CC3) of the Circle Line.
From the Esplanade Station, take Exit D leading to CityLink Mall. From CityLInk Mall, cut through to the underpass leading to the Esplanade (Landmark: UOB ATMs and adidas store) and exit at Connaught Drive. This will take approximately 8 minutes, and is sheltered except between the exit to Connaught Drive and the Clubhouse.
Alternatively, take Exit F leading to Beach Road. From Beach Road, cross to Raffles City and proceed to the Clubhouse. This will take approximately 10 minutes and is unsheltered once you reach the junction of Beach Road and Bras Basah Road.
