120th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 120th Annual General Meeting was held at Raffles City Convention Centre on Saturday, 26 April 2008 at 2.00 pm. Eight hundred and twenty-five voting members were present when the registration closed at 4.00 pm.

1.           The results of voting to elect the new Committee Members are as follows: -

Motion passed as a simple majority (51%) was attained.
Resolution Two (2) -     TO AMEND RULE 8 OF THE CLUB’S CONSTITUTION
                                           RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES OF SPORTING MEMBERS
Total no. of Votes cast: : 761  
Votes For : 519 (72.8%)  
Votes Against : 194 (27.2%)  
Spoilt Votes : 8  
Blank Votes : 40  
Motion passed as at least a two-third (66.6%) majority was attained as required for change of Constitution.
Resolution Three (3) -   RESTRICTION ON THE CONTINUOUS TERMS OF OFFICE BEARERS

Votes For : 446 (61.4%)  
Votes Against : 280 (38.6%)
