121st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 121st Annual General Meeting was held at Raffles City Convention Centre, Stamford Ballroom on Saturday, 25 April 2009 at 2.00 pm. Four hundred and seventy-six voting members were present to witness the AGM.

Two resolutions were put up for voting by members as follows:

1. Resolution One (1) - 

That the post of the President shall not be held by the same person continuously for more than two (2) terms.”

Votes Against:                             236

Spoilt Votes:                                3

Blank Votes:                                1

Motion not passed as a two-third (66.6%) majority was not attained as required for change of Constitution.

2.  Resolution Two (2) -          

“That the post of the Finance Member shall not be held by the same person continuously for more than two (2) terms.”

Votes For:                                    194

Votes Against:                             213
