NSRCC, Afternoon Tee-Off

It was a time to saluteall the National Servicemen in SRC Golf Section, as we played the very first golf game at the National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC).

86 golfers enjoyed the Army, Navy and Air-Force Course which all teed-off at noon. Majority of the golfers were already members of NSRCC and with that privilege, up to fifty per cent of the fees were waived!

After the game, the NSRCC’s Jumbo Seafood Restaurant was kept busy whipping up delicious dishes to the nine hungry tables. It seems as though food, beer and whisky were pouring out non-stop throughout the night!

One of the highlights was the presentation of the 3 “Eagles” to our very own golfers, which they achieved in the month of May. Both Mr Heng Jui How and Mr J Masilamany achieved it during the Golf Section’s Hainan Tour. On the other hand, Mr Gordon Yeo clinched his at the Keppel Club on 23 May during the friendly game with Serangoon Gardens Country Club. There were also 20 lucky draw prizes given away.

When the night was officially over, every golfer left NSRCC with a delighted heart!
