Golf Section Medal Game at Starhill Golf & Country Club

The Golf Medal Game at Starhill Golf & Country Club attracted 73 members and their guests. Some 42 golfers reported at SRC’s Lobby at 9.30am to catch the coach, while others chose to make their own way to the venue.

We reached our destination at noon and all moved on for a light Japanese lunch before the tournament kicked-off. 19 flights went off to their designated tee-off points and soon the chase for the medals began!

However, a heavy downpour disrupted the game after just playing the first hole. Fortunately, it was only for a short while and the weather that ensued thereafter was perfect for play.

An 8-course dinner was then served after all golfers had a warm shower. When the results were announced, the prize presentation took place and was followed by a lucky draw, with 20 prizes given away.
