10th Annual Bowling Championship & Use Of Bowling Lanes
The Club’s 10th Annual Bowling Championship will be held from Monday, 1 September to Sunday, 21 September 2008. All bowling lanes will be reserved from 7pm on 1 September to 7pm on 21 September. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
F1 Week (22 to 28 September 2008)
Due to potential road closures and at the request of some Sections, these activities will be cancelled during the F1 week, i.e. from 22 to 28 September 2008:
Entire week – No field training, bowling and Swim School activities.
Mon – Line Dance Practice Night & Beginners’ Course
Tues – DanceSport Ballroom Practice Night, Bridge Practice Session
Wed – TM Chapter Meeting
Thurs – Line Dancing Night & Intermediate Course
Fri – Social Dancing Night
Sat – Mixed Dancing Night
‘Dress Down’ Dress Code During Race Days (26 to 28 September 2008)
During race days, members will be permitted to be attired in bermudas, tee-shirts and slippers from B1 to the 2nd level (3rd level closed to members who have purchased hospitality packages).
Mixed Dancing Nights
Tuesday, 30 September 2008 is a Mixed Dancing Night as it falls on the eve of Hari Raya Puasa. There will not be any Mixed Dancing Nights on Saturday, 4 October 2008 and Saturday, 11 October 2008 respectively as Lounge 1883 will be used for the 2nd SRC Charity Line Dance dinner programme and Women’s Wing 14th Anniversary Dinner respectively.

The $10+ fee would give guests a choice of a soft drink, coffee or tea. The $15+ fee would entitle them to a choice of a soft drink, coffee/tea, house pouring wine or draft beer.
Members are reminded to sign in their guests using the electronic guest register located at the Lobby, and that in accordance with Rule 20(d) of the Club’s Constitution; the same guest can only be brought to the Club once in the same month by the proposing member.
Guest Books
Other than the electronic guest register, guest books are also located at Barker Lounge and Poolside Cafe, for members’ convenience.
Bill Settlement By NETS
Members may settle their bills through NETS at our Front Office with effect from 1 September 2008.
New Resident Band At Barker Lounge
Our new resident band, Robyn and Terry, performs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and the eves of public holidays at Barker Lounge. Relax after a hard day’s work, with Robyn on guitar, accompanied by Terry (formerly of ’70s trio, Tony, Spencer & Terry) on keyboards. Robyn & Terry will take you from the ’60s to the ’90s and entertain you with their repertoire of contemporary hits from the Billboard charts. On Fridays, they are joined by drummer Chris Miles, formerly of Adam, Ben & Chris.

Fridays/Eves of Public Holidays – 7.45pm, 8.45pm, 9.45pm, 10.45pm & 11.45pm

REMINDER: ACCESS TO CLUBHOUSE
Members who wish to access the Clubhouse during the race period must present their SRC membership cards, along with tickets. Members who do not comply will be turned away from the Clubhouse.
COLLECTION OF TICKETS
Members who have been successful in purchasing tickets for the race from SRC may collect them from 1 to 19 September 2008, during the following hours:
Mon to Fri: 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 9pm
Sat to Sun: 11am to 2pm
