Covid-19 Positive Cases - 2 October 2021
02 October 2021
We have been informed late on Saturday, 2 October 2021 by the authorities that two of our staff have tested positive for Covid-19.
The security staff was last seen at the Club on Friday, 1 October 2021. The kitchen staff was last seen at the Club on Saturday, 2 October 2021.
Other staff who are considered to have come in close contact with these confirmed cases have tested negative through the self-administered Antigen-Rapid Test (ART). They will also be taking their Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test. As a precaution, these staff are placed on self-isolation and have been informed to monitor their health or other symptoms.
As a precautionary measure, persons who have visited the Clubhouse should:
1. Monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit; and 2. See a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory inspection (such as a cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell; and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
The Club will be carrying out deep cleaning and disinfection of the Clubhouse on Sunday, 3 October 2021 and will therefore stay closed. The counting of votes will still proceed as planned and results will be posted on the Club’s website.
