Covid-19 Positive Cases - 3 October 2021

Further to yesterday’s notice about two Covid-19 positive cases, another kitchen staff has tested positive. The kitchen staff was last seen at the Club on Saturday, 2 October 2021.

Both kitchen staff worked in the back of house and had little interaction with members. The security staff was deployed to multiple locations during his shift, including the voting area. He did not report to work when he felt unwell and went to see a doctor.

Deep cleaning and disinfection of the Clubhouse has already been carried out.

In addition to other staff who already went for their Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test, the Club has scheduled for all F&B staff and other staff to go for their PCR tests. All staff have been informed to monitor their health or other symptoms.

Through the expanded PCR testing pool, we expect more staff to possibly test positive.

For the safety of our members and staff, the Club will close for 5 more days and re-open on Saturday, 9 October 2021.

As a precautionary measure, persons who have visited the Clubhouse from  Thursday, 30 September to Saturday, 2 October 2021 should:

  1. Monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit; and
  2. See a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory inspection (such as a cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell; and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
  3. Check their phones to see if they receive a Health Risk Alert or Health Risk Warning, which is sent by SMS.
